Can You Believe for the Impossible?

Here we are on planet earth faced with everyday occurrences that can sometimes be very daunting.  So, how do we, as born-again, spirit-filled, Bible-believing Christians handle these things successfully? Let’s look at Mark 9:23:

Mark 9:23 (KJV) 23   Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Wow! Just think about it – if we can believe, ALL things are possible! That’s almost too much to wrap your head around. But wait – it gets better!

The word believe refers to one who is presently believing and continuing to believe, not someone who just believed in the past but actually is believing right now and continues to do so. It comes from the Greek word for faith. Now that’s interesting, isn’t it?

The word possible in Greek is dunata which is a form of the Greek word dunamis – the word for the explosive power of God. We get the word dynamite from dunamis. But that’s not all.

Dunata means power, strength, and ability and is used to describe the strength of a whole army! How exciting is that!

You see, when you get in faith and stay there with an attitude of never quitting ’til you see your desired results, you have a whole army with explosive power to back you up! That’s why you must never quit believing because there is activity going on in the spirit realm that you can only see with the eyes of faith. Remember, in one hour things can change! I’ve seen it happen over and over.

So, dear brothers and sisters, for those of you who are believing and continuing to believe in faith according to God’s Word, all things are possible. Get in faith, lock in, and expect dynamic results!

Mark 11:23-24 (KJV)
23  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Luke 17:6 (KJV) 6  And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

Mark 10:27 (KJV) 27  And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Matthew 19:26 (KJV) 26  But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

’Til next time—Pamela
