[Author’s note: This is my 300th blog. I am so thankful to the Lord for giving me this platform to teach His Word!]
How many times have you felt like you were backed up against a wall with nowhere to turn – a Red Sea moment! So what should you do?
Well, the Israelites were in that same situation – couldn’t turn to the left nor to the right. They couldn’t go back to Egypt because Pharaoh was hot on their trail. And – the Red Sea loomed in front of them! But GOD!
Yes, God had on purpose brought them by way of the Red Sea so they wouldn’t have any place to turn, lest they turn back to Egypt. So, what did they do? They cried to the Lord about what to do and His Word was to stand still and see His salvation.
Praise and worship to God went forth all night and the waters parted – congealed – and they went forth on dry land! Praise the Lord of Glory – a miracle indeed!
Too many times people cave in when a crisis comes, only to find out that if they had just stood their ground in faith, victory would have been theirs. Remember, dear saints, in one hour things can change. I’ve seen this happen over and over and was so glad I didn’t quit standing!
It takes courage to stand. Anybody can quit. Just do nothing and you’ve quit. By that I mean nothing! Standing in faith is not doing nothing. Standing in faith takes spiritual energy but it works because when you’re standing in faith, you’re standing on God’s Word and He’s always watching over His Word to cause it to come to pass!
Stand strong, brothers and sisters. Stay in peace and keep your eyes on the Lord! Victory is ours!
Exodus 14:13 (KJV) 13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
Jeremiah 1:12 (KJV) 12 Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.
Jeremiah 1:12 (AMP) 12 Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.
