This is a new series regarding how to use your faith for healing – yours or someone else’s. Faith as you know is when you trust God to mean what He has said and then acting on it. It’s what we hope for but as yet unseen in the natural realm
Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1 (AMP) 1 NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].
Faith is what we hold onto until we see the manifestation of what we are believing for. However, let me reiterate that faith has to be developed in the area for which we are expecting to get results. For example:
Faith for salvation is what God actually puts in our hearts so that we can accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and His total plan of Redemption for us. But faith for salvation is not the same as having faith for healing, deliverance, finances, protection, etc. Yes it’s the same faith but it must be developed by getting into God’s Word and finding out what He has already provided for us and then walking in it. This shows you can be strong in faith in one area but weak in others.
Hence this new series on Faith for Healing. Faith for healing is not automatic. We must pursue the promises of God and find out how to use our faith to access the spirit realm where the promises are. When we do that, we’re on the road to victory in that area.
