Who Needs Some More wisdom?

How many times have you ever had to make a decision of some importance and weren’t sure if you would make the right one? I think most of us have been there. Fortunately, there’s a way to consistently make the right decisions, with no regrets. Wow! Can this be? Yes – read on.

1 Corinthians 1:30 (KJV) 30  But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

As you can see from the above scripture, Jesus is our Wisdom. When we got born-again, Jesus became Wisdom unto us, just like He is our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. I don’t think anyone would argue that He is our redemption. We know and believe that. Therefore, if one part of the scripture is true, then the rest of it is also.

Remember, as I always say, God’s Word has to be the “benchmark”, the final authority, for all that we do. If we need wisdom, we need to go to God’s Word and find out what He has to say.

First of all, if you need wisdom, ask God for it. He will always lead and direct you by his Spirit. We are told to ask if we need something and it will be given to us (Matt. 7:7-8; James 1:5). God’s will for us is to know Him and His ways. He wants us to be successful and victorious in this life. That’s why He has so provided for us via His Word. Every answer you’ll ever need is in the Word of God. That’s His part. Our part is to dig it out, partake of it and be the overcomers and the “more than conquerors” that He intends for us to be.

Remember, what God says, is! You can count on Him to always make a way for you. The Holy Spirit is your Guide and He will direct your path. Yield yourself to His wisdom and believe to be in the right place at the right time to make the right decisions.

Matthew 7:7-8 (KJV) 7  Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8  For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

James 1:5 (KJV) 5   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

James 3:17 (KJV) 17  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) 5  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

1 John 5:14-15 (KJV) 14  And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15  And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
