Just who are you? Have you ever wondered what people really think of you? Should you actually care what they think? These are good questions that affect us more than we think they do.
How many times have you done something with the thought in mind about what others might say or think? We’ve all done this at one time or another. But let me say that people are going to think what they want, whether or not it’s true. In fact, some don’t ever let the facts get in the way of what they think or believe! How ‘bout that for being on the wrong page!
You are not other people’s opinions. They don’t (at least they shouldn’t) control you. You are the one who determines what you think and believe. You are not people’ opinions. You are what God said you are and He speaks the truth!
I encourage you to go to God’s Word and find out all the good things He has to say about you and enjoy every day of your life!
Here are a few scriptures to get you started:
Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV) 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Psalm 139:14 (KJV) 14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
1 Corinthians 1:30 (KJV) 30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
Psalm 17:8 (KJV) 8 Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings
