Is it or is it Not Always God’s Will to Heal?

[Please avail yourself of my teachings on YouTube – Pamela Moyle. My latest is a series on healing: Accessing God’s Power for Healing. I believe they will be a blessing to you.]

So, I ask you: is it or isn’t it always God’s will to heal everyone, every time, anywhere, anyhow? My answer, of course, is YES! Just keep reading because I know this is a sacred cow to many people.

Actually, it’s really very easy to get healed because our healing was bought and paid for by Jesus on the Cross. It’s in the same verse as the forgiveness of our sins.

1 Peter 2:24 (KJV) 24  Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Here’s where the problem is, as I see it. Trying to persuade and convince people (and I’m speaking of Christians) that it’s always God’s will to heal every time, is the hard part. This is where they get held up and it affects their faith because you can’t have faith beyond your knowledge of God’s Word, which is His will.

If you’re not fully persuaded and convinced that it’s God’s will to heal every time, it will cause questions and faith stops at the question mark!

If you think that God picks and chooses who gets healed, that’s unbelief and as you know from my teachings, unbelief will negate, cancel, and render your faith inoperative. That’s not a place you want to be because without faith it’s impossible to please God. And God, because of His integrity, cannot answer prayers of unbelief. Without faith, you won’t get your prayers answered! So what can you do?

[A good place to start is to listen to my YouTube video series: Accessing God’s Power for Healing. I spent quite a bit of time setting the foundation to show why it’s always God’s will to heal.]

Now, remember, Jesus is our example – the Pattern Son – the One whose example we are to follow. Let’s look what He did and remember John 14:12 where Jesus told us that the works He did we shall do!

John 14:12 (KJV) 12  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

As you can see in the scriptures below, everyone who came to Jesus for healing, received healing. Jesus never told anyone that it wasn’t time for them to be healed – just go home and wait on God. No! That’s not what happened but many Christians today think this way. If they don’t see instant manifestation of healing, they assume it wasn’t God’s will to heal them. But—I ask you, why do they go to the doctor? Why not just stay sick if they think this is God’s will? Do you see how ridiculous this is?

God is our Father and He has the heart of a Father who wants to see His children well, healthy, prosperous, victorious, and in right relationship with Him. That’s why Jesus went to the Cross and paid the ultimate sacrifice for us.

Even in the natural, every good parent wants the best for their children. Do you think God wants less? No, no, no a thousand times no!

Our Father God gave His very BEST so that we can have the BEST! Let’s go with His plan and live the abundant life Jesus bought for us!

John 10:10 (AMP) 10  The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

Matthew 4:23-24 (KJV) 23  And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
24  And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

Matthew 9:35 (KJV) 35  And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
Matthew 12:15 (KJV) 15  But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;
Matthew 19:1-2 (KJV) 1  And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan;
2  And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.

Matthew 21:14 (KJV) 14  And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.
Isaiah 53:5 (KJV) 5  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Mark 5:25-34 (KJV) 25  And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
26  And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
27  When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
28  For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
29  And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
30  And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
31  And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
32  And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
33  But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
34  And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
