Noise, noise, noise! Everywhere – noise, noise, noise! Everywhere you turn somebody is saying something, whether it’s the news, music, or social media. Everyone thinks they have something to say that everyone wants to hear! Not so! But they try anyway.
It’s been said for years that if you tell a lie gong enough, people will believe that it’s true. That’s the whole concept behind propaganda. So what do we do? What can we do?
Well, first of all, we have to be alert and discerning about what we hear and not be bamboozled by the “philosophies and traditions” of men which make the Word of God of no effect.
Colossians 2:8 (KJV) 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

How does what you’ve been hearing measure up to God’s Word? That’s always the bottom line. God’s Word is the benchmark from which we are to measure everything in our lives. If you slack off, it won’t be long before the “world” and its evil ways will talk you right out of your faith.
If you keep subjecting yourself people who speak negatively about God’s healing, their unbelief will get on you and hinder or negate your faith. You have to guard you heart.
Remember how you got saved? By faith in God’s Word that what Jesus did was true and you accepted it by faith. Well, that’s how you are to continue in your walk – by faith in what God has said in His Word, not by what the world is screaming at you. The devil is behind all that because he’s trying to steal God’s Word from you so that you fail miserably and then blame it on God.
Colossians 2:6 (KJV) 6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
What has God said in His Word? He said:
- Healing belongs to you.
- Deliverance belongs to you.
- Prosperity belongs to you.
- Protection belongs to you.
- Peace, love, joy, etc. belong to you.
Yes they all belong to you but you have to receive them by faith. God says what He means and means what He says. He’s faithful, faithful, faithful!
