Matthew 4:4 (KJV) 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Are you truly living a life worth living or are you merely holding on ‘til the Rapture? I would venture to say that many Christians have this mind set, even though they probably wouldn’t admit it.
But, is that the best we can expect from God – the One who gives us richly all things to enjoy (I Tim. 6:17), our gracious, merciful, loving Father Who gave His very best – the Lord Jesus – so that we could have eternal fellowship with Him? I think not!
God has good plans for us: prosperity, healing, deliverance, health, joy, etc., etc., etc. And the good news is that His plans haven’t changed. We might have changed, grown weary, been tempted to quit and give up but God is faithful, faithful, faithful! His Word has always worked, is working today, and will work throughout all eternity!
I ask you, dear brothers and sisters, are you living your life to the fullest, resisting fear and unbelief like the poisons they are? Are you living in the health and prosperity God has for you, being sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s guidance, and walking in God’s plans and purposes for you? That’s the life worth living!
God’s ways always line up with His Word and His Word will always steer you in the right direction. His Word, as I’ve said many times, must absolutely be the benchmark from which we measure everything in this life. His Word must be the bottom line in everything we do if we want to actually live a life worth living on planet earth. His Word has all the answers we’ll ever need to function victoriously and bring glory and honor to our Father God!
(KJV) 17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV) 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Psalm 119:89 (KJV) 89 For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
1 Peter 1:25a (KJV) 25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever.
Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12 (AMP) 12 For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.
Philippians 4:13 (KJV) 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:13 (AMP) 13 I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].
