This blog is going to be different than my usual teaching blogs. I’m simply going to give you some words of wisdom to think about that will edify and encourage you.
1 – God’s Word must be the benchmark, the basis, the foundational truth from which you measure everything in this life. [Remember, I have said this over and over.]
2 – No matter what happens – unanswered prayer, trials and tribulations, sickness, disease, defeat, depression, etc., it’s never God’s fault! This is a big one because Christians are notorious for blaming God when things go wrong, never even considering that they could be at fault or even the devil! We need to take responsibility for our own actions and that will put us way ahead of most people and on our way to the truth.
3 – Don’t get mad at God because you don’t like His way of doing things. It seems that when some people pray, they expect God to answer their way and if He does it His way, they get mad at Him! This isn’t good because it cuts you off from God’s help. [Read my blog on 3/15/21 – “What are They Thinking?”] Remember, you can’t play football with baseball rules and then wonder why things aren’t working!
4 – Electricity is God’s power in the natural realm and the Anointing is God’s power in the spirit realm! If you get this, it will help you understand the spirit realm and how the anointing works.
5 – Many people, including Christians, want God’s blessings but don’t want Him. They want what God has to offer but don’t want to do it His way to get it! Think about this one.
6 – The wisdom of God is hidden for His people, not from them.
Luke 10:21 (KJV) 21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
1 Corinthians 2:7 (KJV) 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
Colossians 2:3 (KJV) 3 In whom [Jesus]are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
James 1:5 (KJV) 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
1 Corinthians 1:30 (KJV) 30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
7 – God is not obligated to answer the prayers of those who are not in fellowship with Him, except for salvation.
1 Peter 3:12a (KJV) 12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. [Righteous means those in right standing with Him.]
8 – Shooting up a prayer and hoping it sticks is no better than the unsaved do. God answers prayers prayed in faith. So it is with whining, crying, and prayers of unbelief.
Hebrews 11:6 (KJV) 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
9 – You can’t remember what you never learned! The Holy Spirit will bring things to your remembrance but you have to first put them in your heart.
John 14:26 (KJV) 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
10 – As Andrew Wommack says often, if you’re not supernatural, you’re superficial! We are supernatural beings in a flesh body and we ought to walk in God’s supernatural ways and show forth God’s goodness!
Romans 2:4b (KJV) 4 … that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
