God’s First Aid Kit!

If there was a medicine that was guaranteed to cure whatever ails you, would you be interested? Of course you would, or at least you should be interested! Wouldn’t that be a great asset in your First Aid Kit? Not only that, you could actually share it with others if needed.

Well, I have good news for you. There is such a medicine/remedy that will do just that – cure anything that ails you. It’s the Word of God! I think you figured that out already but let me elaborate.

God’s Word actually guarantees results but with one condition: you must believe it and act on it. Your faith in God’s Word determines whether or not you’ll get His results. Most people think they can just shoot up a prayer and hope it sticks. But if it doesn’t produce the right results, they conclude that it wasn’t God’s will in the first place. That’s a bald-faced lie!

It’s always God’s will to answer every prayer prayed in faith, especially healing because it’s already been paid for. I Pet. 2:24 tells us that when Jesus went to the cross to bear our sins, He also paid the price for our complete healing. Isa 53:4-5 also bears this out, as well as Matt. 8:17.

Then, dear brothers and sisters, we have Isa 54:17, Ps.91, Gen. 1:28, and Mark 11:23-24. What more do we need to show us that God is on our side but we have our part to do. Heb.11:6 says that we need faith to please God. He has already given it to us but we have to step out and use it. We actually activate God’s healing power by our faith. [See the scriptures regarding the woman with the issue of blood – Mark 5:25-34.]

I’ve written a lot about healing but suffice it to say that we need to build our “first aid” arsenal before the devil attacks so that when it happens, the first words out of our mouths are God’s Words – no weapon formed against me shall prosper!

We, above all people of the earth, are blessed beyond measure but we either don’t know it or refuse to believe it. It’s time for the body of Christ to start walking in their inheritance. The world needs to see the manifest presence of the Lord in and on us so that they will want what we have. But if we look and act no differently than they do, what is it that they’ll want? It’s the goodness of God that brings people to repentance. Let’s go for it!

Romans 2:4b (KJV) 4  …  that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

1 Peter 2:24 (KJV) 24  Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Isaiah 53:4-5 (KJV) 4  Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Matthew 8:17 (KJV) 17  That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
Genesis 1:28 (KJV) 28  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Mark 11:23-24 (KJV) 23  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Proverbs 4:20-22 (KJV)
20  My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21  Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22  For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

Hebrews 11:6 (KJV) 6  But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Romans 12:3b (KJV) 3  …  according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
Mark 5:25-34 (KJV) 25  And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,

Ps. 91:1-14 (KJV)
