There are so many health plans around these days and it almost makes you dizzy just trying to figure out which one is the best. Well, I’m going to let you in on my Health Plan which is free with one simple qualifying condition. And here it is:
1 Peter 2:24 (KJV) 24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
You see, when Jesus paid the price for our sins on the Cross, He also paid the price for our sickness and diseases. That means it is actually a package deal! But it gets better.
Remember I said in the opening paragraph that His Health Plan is free but there’s a qualifying condition? Let’s take a look.
Romans 10:9-10 (KJV) 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
In order to actually qualify for this Health Plan, you have to accept what Jesus did in His Redemptive Plan for mankind. You have to accept Him as your Lord and Savior. Once you settle that, the Health Plan is yours for the taking. And I really mean for the taking. It doesn’t automatically fall on you. You have to reach out and take it!
What? You say. How can this be? I thought we get everything we need at the New Birth. Yes and no. Read on.
When you get born again, your sins are automatically forgiven as well as being delivered from your sicknesses and diseases and their torment. This package actually belongs to you but, and I say but, you now have your part to do. God has already done His part by providing the package, but you have to, by faith reach out and receive the package. Otherwise God’s provision will do you no good. And that, dear brothers and sisters, is where many Christians miss it.
Too many Christians, who love God and are committed to Him, fail to see that there is a God-part and a man-part to all of God’s promises. If we don’t do our part by receiving in faith, we’ll never fully come into all that God has for us to live victoriously on planet earth. And, we’ll be no better off in this life than our unsaved neighbors and friends except that we’re saved.
God’s Health Plan is perfect and works every time if we work it according to His Word. He told us to speak to the problem and it would obey us. But how many are doing that? Not enough because the Church is just as sick, poor, and bound as the world.
Let’s get into God’s Word and get His Word into us and show the world just Who our awesome God is!
Proverbs 4:20-22 (KJV) 20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health [medicine] to all their flesh.
Mark 11:23-24 (KJV) 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
2 Peter 1:3-4 (KJV) 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
1 Peter 5:8-9 (KJV) 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
James 4:7 (KJV) 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Acts 10:38 (KJV) 38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
John 14:12-14 (KJV) 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
