Words, Words, Words – Part V

Isaiah 55:11 (KJV) 11  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

All the Words that God has ever spoken are still out there causing to come to pass what He sent them to do. That’s how it is with our words. As we speak in line with His Word in faith, those words, containers of God’s faith, go forth to cause to come to pass what we have sent them to do. I know this sounds like a lot to absorb but let me break it down.

Before Jesus could be was born here, God had to get His Word into the earth. He had to get someone to prophesy Jesus’ birth so that He could cause it to come to pass. If He could get someone to speak forth that a virgin would conceive and the Messiah would be born, then He could move and cause Jesus to be born here. [Remember, Adam sold out to satan and satan became the ruler of this world. That’s why God had to work through mankind.]

So what did God do? He spoke His Word through His prophets and they spoke forth prophecies concerning the coming Messiah. For example:

Isaiah prophesied the birth of Jesus 750 years before the actually birth! Wow! Yes, it took 750 years for that Word to come to pass but it did come to pass because when God speaks, His Words stay out there to cause results.

Some of us get antsy when we hear a prophecy and wonder why it doesn’t happen the next day! We have to remember that when God’s Word is spoken, you can count on the fact that it will come to pass. We need to have patience to continue to stand in faith regarding it as we wait to see the manifestation.

I said all this to say that it works the same with us. When we speak or pray God’s Word, we need to know that those faith-filled words are out there continuing work to cause the manifestation of what we have prayed. And they keep working as long as we don’t quit and get into unbelief and wavering and negate our prayers.

I’m convinced that every faith-filled prayer that’s ever been prayed is still out there working to cause the manifestation if we haven’t given up. Never give up. Keep standing firm and let patience have her perfect work and you will see your desired results. [Hebrews 6:12]
