When You Pray, Do You Expect Results or Just a-Hopin’ and a-Prayin’?

It’s always an amazement to me that Christians get answers to their prayers. Too many of them never really expect to get answers. They think that God judges individual prayers on a case by case method. That’s just not so!

God judges everything according to His Word, which He has already sent into the earth for us to partake of. And because He’s already provided everything we’ll ever need on planet earth to be successful, there’s nothing more He can do. He’s already done it all. Praise the Lord of glory!

There are so many scriptures that tell us we can have what we say. In fact, we’re gonna have what we say!

Galatians 6:7 (KJV) 7  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Mark 11:23-24 (KJV) 23  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Proverbs 18:21 (KJV) 21  Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Romans 14:23b (KJV) 23 … for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Our Words are so important. It’s expedient that we consistently watch the words we speak. Are they bringing life or death, blessing or cursing?

When we pray in faith according to God’s Word, we should expect to see the results. We cannot pray and then let doubt and unbelief negate our prayers. That’s not only futile, but frustrating as well.

Our job is to get into God’s Word and find out what He has already promised, stand on that promise, and expect to see results! It’s really that simple.

Don’t be as some—hearers of the word but not doers of the Word.

Living life according to God’s plan is the most satisfying and rewarding life you can have. Go for it!
