How many times have you said, “If only I had more faith?” But, that shouldn’t be the case with born-again Christians. Once you get saved, you have the faith of Jesus deposited in your re-born spirit. And everyone gets the same lump!
However, what you do with your lump is up to you. Your job is to develop it by studying, meditating God’s Word, and getting it into your spirit so that you know the things that God has freely given you.
Everything you’ll ever need has already been provided for you in God’s Word. Not one thing was left out. But if you don’t know His Word, you can’t access the promises and they won’t manifest in your life.
So, whenever you’re not seeing answers to your prayers, it’s not a faith problem. It’s a knowledge problem because you can’t have faith for something apart from the Word of God . Faith for the promises come from the Word. Every Word of God is filled with enough faith to cause it to come to pass for whosoever will believe it and act on it.
If you don’t know what the Word says about a situation, you won’t have the faith to stand and believe for the manifestation. That’s why it’s a knowledge problem. Sometimes you just don’t know enough.
For example—if you’re having trouble receiving your healing, it’s a knowledge problem. If you have financial needs, it’s a knowledge problem. You need to know what God has already said about healing or about finances so that you can access His promises.
What a wonderful God we serve Who has so graciously provided for our every need, and sad to say, most Christians are living far below the privileges, plans, and purposes God has for them.
Jesus provided everything we’ll ever need: salvation, healing, deliverance, prosperity, protection, soundness, and wholeness. And then he sent the Holy Spirit to indwell us so that we’d be victorious in every area of our lives.
How awesome is our God!
Proverbs 1:7 (KJV) 7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 9:10 (KJV) 10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
Romans 12:3 (KJV) 3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
2 Peter 1:3-4 (KJV) 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
