Are We the Glorious Church?

Jesus is coming back for a glorious Church, a not a wimpy one.

Ephesians 5:27 (KJV) 27  That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Luke 18:8b (KJV) 8  …  Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

These are two revealing scriptures. First, that Jesus calls us the Glorious Church because He knows the end from the beginning [Isaiah 46:10]. We might not look like the Glorious Church now but we will by the time He returns.

Secondly, notice about the spots and wrinkles. Among other things, this has to do with wavering. Are we wavering in our stand or are we firmly planted on God’s Word! Do we fold up like a $2 suitcase when a crisis comes or do we continue to stand on God’s Word and trust His faithfulness?

During this time of election results (in the USA), I’ve been hearing disheartening information that many “Christians” have lost confidence because they have been duped by the fake news regarding who has won the presidency. They have believed lies and are suffering for it.

Know this, brothers and sisters, God doesn’t lie. He has spoken through His prophets in these times and we need to stand on those words. I firmly believe that Donald J. Trump will be inaugurated in January 2021 and we will have averted a massive collapse of this country!

If we fall apart in times of crises, who will be there to lead the people? God is raising up His army to forge ahead and take this world for Jesus. I know that not all will be saved but we have our part to do the Lord’s will so everyone has a chance and that no one has an excuse!

2 Peter 3:9 (KJV) 9  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

We are the Church of Philadelphia and God is counting on us to be all that He has purposed for us to be!

We’re to be strong in the Lord, not in ourselves. That’s how we overcome the world – by the blood of the Lamb and faith in His Word!

We’re overcomers and we need to act like it!

Ephesians 6:10 (KJV) 10  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

1 John 5:4 (KJV) 4  For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Revelation 12:11a (KJV) 11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;

Isaiah 46:10 (KJV) 10  Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

Numbers 23:19 (KJV) 19  God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Amos 3:7 (KJV) 7  Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

Revelation 3:7-13 (KJV)
