Expressing Our Faith Through Words – Part V

2 Corinthians 4:18 (KJV) 18  While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

We’ve been discussing how words and faith are connected. I want to dig a little deeper and talk about the two realms that we deal with: the spirit realm, where God operates, and the physical realm where we operate. What’s so exciting about this topic is that it explains so many things.

First of all, the spirit realm created the physical realm. Therefore, the spirit realm is the parent force of the physical realm. Before anything was, God was. God has always been and will always be. Everything we need or ever will need is in the spirit realm first and then in the physical realm. Everything you see in this earth came out of the spirit realm. So that’s the first part.

Next, I want you to see that everything in the physical realm is temporary. It won’t last forever. Everything as we know it is decaying and disintegrating. Think about a new car. When it leaves the lot, it depreciates immediately! Not a pleasant thought but true none the less.

This brings me to the opening scripture that the things we can see are temporary and the things we don’t see are eternal. This is speaking of the physical and spirit realms. Now hold onto your seatbelts…

Having said all that, let me reiterate that the things we see were created by the spirit realm, by words, and are temporary. Therefore, I submit to you that if the temporary things we see were created by faith-filled spirit words, they’re still subject to spirit words and can therefore be changed by faith-filled spirit words that we speak. This is awesome!

This is a lot to think about!
